Sinapse is a flexible and configurable plugin-based multi purpose software system.

Sinapse is suitable to satisfy various needs: from process control, to MES, to integration processes via ESB patterns. The system is based on the propagation of events, both external and internal, and uses a message-based multi-pattern communication software bus that connects a network of simple entities; like in a neural network they collaborate to reach the final goal. SinapseServerHost	SinapseClientRuntime	SinapseConfigurator
SinapseServerHost is the server portion that hosts the execution logic; plugins are nested within a communication chain described using an execution topology	SinapseClientRuntime is the client software to be used to connect to the Sinapse server, retrieve the graphic and functional configuration, view the graphic interface and perform the operations required by the functional logic	SinapseConfigurator is the client software that allows system configuration through simple and intuitive graphics based on WPF and extendable with the help of plugins and graphic objects. The SinapseConfigurator is the only component authorized to make changes to the server configuration
