MASES has a deep knowledge of the .NET environment and in particular of the CLR and CoreCLR. Thanks to this profound knowledge we created JCOBridge, our native in-process bridge between .NET and the JVM, covering .NET Framework 4.6.2+ through .NET 10.
MASES has a deep knowledge of the Java environment and in particular of the JVM, covering Java 8 through Java 25 as well as other JVM-hosted languages such as Scala and Kotlin. Thanks to this deep knowledge the company created JCOBridge and the open-source JNet and JCOReflector projects.
Building on our knowledge of Apache Kafka and of JCOBridge, we created the open-source KNet project — the only .NET suite exposing the full Kafka API surface, including Kafka Streams and Kafka Connect — which allows MASES to fully use the power offered by Apache Kafka™ within our customers, sometimes using the derived Entity Framework Core provider for Apache Kafka and KNet for OPC projects.
MASES is Corporate Member of OPC Foundation. MASES can boast a deep knowledge of the technologies promoted by the OPC Foundation:
- OPC Classic: by integrating the knowledge of the COM/DCOM environment and OPC Classic we are able to offer the best solutions for use of previous technology underlying communication within industrial processes
- OPC-UA: based on our deep knowledge of the OPC-UA stack we are able to offer the latest solutions for communication within industrial processes and beyond; this knowledge allowed us to create Sinapse, our main tool for providing quick and effective solutions to our customers in the industry, and KNet for OPC, which bridges OPC-UA data sources directly into Apache Kafka™ as standard Kafka Connect plugins.
